Hillside Celebrates 20 years

August 8th, 2012 | Uncategorized | 0 Comments

In 1991 a piece of land in Wolcott was purchased by Buck Kalinowski. The land had an old barn 10 feet from the road that housed only dirt and dust and memories of once was a 6 stall barn. Now in the location of the barn there there stands a large Cross that tells everyone driving by this place belongs to God and everything you are about to see is because of him.

Cupids NEW arrival

August 8th, 2012 | Uncategorized | 0 Comments

Two weeks after Valentine’s day, Cupid did it again. She gave birth to her new son “Spirit”. Now Arrow, Cupid’s first son, has a little brother, and so far he promises to be 10 times more bold than Arrow ever was! Arrow is very interested in meeting his little brother, but has to wait until he gets bigger… there promises to be another book written by Buck about this new arrival: “Arrow’s Little Brother”. Spirit already gets into everything, loves investigating his surroundings and meeting new people. Why the name Spirit? Well, on his forehead there is an image of a dove at the top of his blaze. The dove is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. When you visit Hillside, you’ll see 3 doves always flying around the farm. They are quite a sight to see!

Cross goes in at Hillside

August 8th, 2012 | Uncategorized | 0 Comments

So….. one night last year Buck had a dream. In the dream, he was to put a cross in the front of the farm that could be seen from 3 directions.

Within days, he began sharing this vision with some folks and soon many stepped forward to help put it up. Just as it had been in the dream. On the following Sunday afternoon, it was built and installed. Neighbors Christine and Carlos bought lights for it and John hooked up the power. In the dream people came to the farm and were blessed.

“These commands that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6: 6,7
