Hillside Equestrian offers lessons in both English and Western riding. Our students range in ability from beginners to advanced riders, ages five to adult. We specialize in lessons where our students learn to ride and care for horses correctly. Good horsemanship is stressed. Students will receive a strong foundation of equitation skills which carries on through advanced levels. Lessons may be booked from 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.

Our school horses and ponies are all top quality, and range in size and scope to suit all riders from the smallest child to the most advanced adult.

Every instructor at Hillside is held to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability and teaching excellence. They are all avid horse people, who enjoy bringing their students along as quickly, safely and with as much fun as possible.

Riders are expected to be wearing appropriate gear. Boots with hard sole and heel are preferable, along with ASTM approved helmets. Helmets are available for the first few lessons, then you are expected to have your own. Special Packages for lesson riders are available at our Tack store, The Hillside Equestrian Shoppe.
