Hillside provides English riding instruction for those of you who would like to be trained in a more classical, disciplined approach to riding. We specialize in Hunter, Jumper and Equitation for beginners to advanced riders.

Everyone who first books a lesson starts with a half-hour private evaluation with our main trainer, Gail Corriveau. She will help you determine what lesson format would be best to suit your riding interests and ability; she will then assign you to an instructor.

CLINICS

We believe the way to stay interested, is to learn also from outside sources. For this reason, we occasionally invite people who have impressed us, either with their performance or instructional ability. They give a clinic or demonstration in their ability.

SHOWING

Hillside holds "Schooling Shows" at the farm for our students as a means to show off their new skills in a friendly, supportive environment and as practice for our Show Team.

For the more serious competitor, we host CHSA and CHJA rated shows throughout the year. We also travel to local and long distance sites to compete at other farms for rated shows.
